SAFARI OVERVIEW
This private five-day safari offers more time to explore Tanzania's famous Northern Circuit. Travel through Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
The itinerary combines elephant-filled landscapes, classic Serengeti plains, predator sightings and the remarkable wildlife concentration of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 1
Pickup from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive among ancient baobab trees while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and rich birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing to your lodge or tented camp.

Day 2
After breakfast, travel through the beautiful Ngorongoro highlands toward Serengeti National Park. Enter the park and enjoy an afternoon game drive across the famous plains while searching for predators, large herbivore herds and other wildlife.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 3
Spend the full day exploring Serengeti National Park. Your guide will choose the best wildlife areas according to the season and recent animal movements. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch inside the park.

Day 4
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Serengeti before traveling toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue wildlife viewing along the way and arrive at your lodge or camp near the crater rim or Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 5
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and, with luck, black rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater and returning to Arusha.
